Aktuelles zu CA 11 R6 und R7
Liebe Mitglieder und Freunde,
Cognos Analytics 11 R6 ist mittlerweile ja allgemein bekannt, trotzdem unten noch einmal die Liste der Erweiterungen.
CA 11 R7 wird uns vermutlich in 2 Monaten erreichen, neu werden Transformer 11 und PowerPlay Server 11 sein.
PowerPlay und PowerCubes wurden ja selbst von "Experten"
bereits seit längerem totgesagt. PowerCubes spielen
aber nach wie vor eine tragende Rolle im Konzept von Cognos
Analytics. Und
als jahrezehntelang ausgereifte Technik ist das kein Wunder.
In diesem Jahr fällt die IBM Veranstaltung "World
of Watson" aka "Insight" aka "Forum" aus. Sie wird mit der "Vision" Veranstaltung
im März 2018 zusammengelegt. Was sich genau ändert, werden
wir in Erfahrung bringen und Sie zu gegebener Zeit auf jeden Fall
optimal informieren.

Constrained delegation
- Microsoft extension to Kerberos to obtain a ticket for another service on behalf of the user
Kerberos and single sign-on
- There are changes to the procedure for configuring the Kerberos login module.
Preserving files during an upgrade
- Files to be preserved during an upgrade are listed in
install_location\configuration\preserve\.ca_base_preserve.txt. Do not
edit this file.
- Edit install_location\configuration\preserve\preserve.txt to remove or preserve files or directories when upgrading.
- Instructions for using preserve.txt are included in the file itself.
